What to expect when you come to Spring Creek
Most people who first come to the Creek come to a morning worship service. During the worship service we will pray, read passages from the Bible, sing and hear a message from the Bible. The music is a blend between newer music you would hear on Christian radio like KSBJ and traditional hymns, which often get a contemporary update. Our pastor preaches from the Bible. He often does a series of messages through a single book of the Bible to enable us to hear the whole counsel of God and to be able to follow the writer's train of thought through the book.
We come to worship dressed comfortably. A few men wear suits, but most are in slacks, dockers, or blue jeans. Some women wear dresses or skirts, some wear nice pants, and others wear blue jeans. We are certainly more interested in who you are than how you look.
There will be an offering received during the service and you are more than welcome to contribute to the work of God at Spring Creek. While you may decide to give, all we ask is that you fill out a welcome card and place it in the offering plate.
